Mary, Aaron, and I had a booth for Burma at the F%$# Yeah Fest this past weekend in Echo Park. To start we had some problems with one of the fellows in charge telling us, "There are 10 year old kids here... you can't put that up!" He was referring to a poster of what is really going on in Burma... people, monks, nuns, women, men, and children are being MURDERED!
We had a handful of discussions with people, and about ten people singed up to receive emails from US Campaign for Burma, and also made $7.00 in donations. muuurrrr!
We did however, make a contact with a gentleman named Steven Stothard of Microcosm Publishing (www.microcosmpublishing.com) who offered us help in spreading the word about the brutality that Burma faces daily. THANK YOU STEVEN!!!
